OBJECTIVES:

To implement environmental education to change the mentality and behaviour of individuals vis-à-vis the environment

PROGRAM STRATEGY :

Projects national and international on the public awareness increase, on educating educators and offering young generation possibilities to learn more about Environment, Social and Economy, Sustainable Development .

Burkina Faso

- addressing children not attending school: increasing their awareness on environmental problems

Children from Tula, Russia made a trip to Switzerland to get to know with environmental problems and increase awareness. In exchange Swiss children visited Tula and took part in clean-up works in the local park.

- Triangle project.

The project was initiated by GC Russia and GC Switzerland on the cooperation between University of Bern and Moscow University of Ecology and Politology in the field of environmental medicine. Summer school on the subject for Russian professors was held in Bern in August.

- Differences in approaches and cultures lead to various vision of the programme concept as well as the projects development and execution
