Program Description
Green Cross national organizations are working on cross-cutting projects
that support the mission of Green Cross and link to the international
programs.
Neuquen 2020
GC Argentina: Neuquen 2020, a sustainable development project
in Patagonia. The Patagonia branch office of GCA is working with local
people, institutions and companies to introduce cleaner industrial processes
while preparing the community and region for more eco-efficient agriculture

Sacred Forests
GC Côte d'Ivoire: Sacred Forests, a biodiversity and awareness-raising
project using traditional values and customs to protect the nation's vital
natural heritage. GCCI is working to save some of the remaining local

Sorting of wastes
GC Czech Republic: Sorting of wastes and liquidation of natural
waste deposits in cooperation with local authorities and combining public

Chemtrust
GC Switzerland: Chemtrust, trust-building for the destruction

Environmental Response Network
GC United Kingdom: Environmental Response Network for emergency
situations. ERN aims to facilitate the integration of environmental considerations
into emergency preparedness and response mechanisms and promote the adoption
of sustainable long-term reconstruction following a disaster. Details
