Green Cross International's President, Mikhail Gorbachev, was invited to Guest Edit a special edition of Civilization, the Magazine of the US Library of Congress, on the global water crisis. The edition was launched at a special event, including a lively and interesting panel debate, in Washington DC on 10 October 2000. Civilization and GCI were honoured that so many distinguished individuals accepted our invitation to contribute to this important awareness-raising publication.
